1. Who we are
These terms apply to skip hire and related waste services supplied by Metro Skips Ltd, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 12948201, VAT GB 384 9201 44). Trading address: Unit 3, Industrial Park, CF10 1AA. Environment Agency registered carrier licence: CBDU-382910.
2. Quotes and bookings
Online prices are estimates based on the information you provide. A hire is only confirmed once we accept the booking, confirm delivery availability, and take payment (or agree credit terms for commercial accounts). We may adjust a quote if site access, waste type, permit requirements or hire period differ from what was stated.
3. Hire period and placement
Standard hire includes up to 14 days unless otherwise stated. Skips on public highways may require a local authority permit; permit fees and lead times vary by council. You must ensure safe access for delivery and collection vehicles and that the skip is not overloaded above the fill line.
4. Prohibited waste
Hazardous, clinical, asbestos, gas bottles, tyres, liquids, fridges/freezers and certain electrical items may be restricted or charged separately. Tell us before loading if you are unsure — overloaded or contaminated loads may be refused or re-priced.
5. Cancellation & refund policy
You may cancel a confirmed booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed delivery slot. Cancellations within 24 hours, failed deliveries caused by blocked access, or customer no-shows may incur a call-out charge. Unused hire time after delivery is not refundable. If we cancel due to operational reasons, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid for the affected hire.
6. Payment
Domestic bookings are typically paid in full before delivery via secure checkout (Stripe, major cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay where available). Prices shown include VAT unless stated otherwise.
